Add the matcha powder to a medium jar, then pour to the powder hot water. Start mixing till all the powder dissolve. Chill the matcha tea in the fridge.
Fill a saucepan with water, leave it to boil, then add the tapioca pearls to cook for 5 minutes or until they are soft. Remove the floating ones from the surface, rinse with cold water quickly and leave them to cool on a plate.
Clean your strawberries, cut their leaves and stems, then cut them into quarters. Move the quartered strawberries to a bowl, add the sugar and leave the bowl for 10-15 minutes. Using a fork, start mashing the strawberry with a fork to make the puree.
Now for the fun part, assembling the serving glass. The first layer should be the tapioca pearls, then the strawberry puree, followed by some milk after adding ice cubes, finally topped with the chilled matcha tea in the last half inch of the glass.
